After he had his season-long loan deal with Valencia cut short, out-of-favour Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi is now at a crossroads in his career as he is surplus to requirements under Maurizio Sarri.
Both Crystal Palace and Everton have been linked with the 25-year-old striker, who starred on loan with Borussia Dortmund last season, and it is said that the Belgian international is rated at around £14m for any interested parties.
A loan move is also an option, but seeing as the Toffees already have French defender Kurt Zouma on loan from Stamford Bridge, the rules state that they cannot loan another player from the same club – if they want Batshuayi, they will have to secure a permanent deal.
