According to reports from Mirror Football, Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing Bournemouth striker Joshua King ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 27-cap Norway international endured a slow start to the season but has been in lethal form since the turn of the year, netting twelve top flight goals in 2017 to fire himself to joint-eighth in the Premier League’s scoring charts.
Aside from Harry Kane, striker has been a real problem position for the Lilywhites over the last two seasons. The England international lacked any sort of understudy last term, whilst Vincent Janssen has struggled to impress since moving to White Hart Lane in the summer.
Capable of playing out wide, centrally or as a supporting striker, the 25-year-old could well be the answer – not only filling in up top when Kane is injured but also adding options and depth to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
