Per The Sun, Carroll was questioned twice by police while holidaying in Mykonos after heated arguments with his girlfriend, Lou. The first incident took place at a busy beachside restaurant where witnesses claimed Carroll appeared "very drunk and furious" before being pulled aside by police. Hours later, officers were again called to their £500-a-night hotel following reports of property damage.

Carroll and Lou began dating last year after his split from wife Billi Mucklow. Tensions flared during their Greek getaway, with onlookers describing upsetting scenes at both the restaurant and hotel. Lou reportedly left their accommodation that night and relocated to Soho Roc House per the report. The next day, Carroll was seen alone and sombre at SantAnna beach club as per The Sun's sources.
