The wives and girlfriends of Bayern Munich players will not be able to travel to London to watch the first leg of the Champions League fixture between the Bundesliga giants and Arsenal on Tuesday, according to . The players travelled to London on Monday ahead of the match.

The match on Tuesday will see only the home fans being allowed at Emirates Stadium due to a sanction imposed on the German side by UEFA. Europe's governing body handed a punishment to the club due to multiple cases of unruly fan behaviour as they were guilty of setting off fireworks in the stands most recently against Lazio in the Champions League round of 16.
Due to their suspension, limited tickets will be issued to the Bundesliga club which will be allocated on a priority basis to club officials, executives and members of Thomas Tuchel's support staff.
