Kobbie Mainoo has joined the Manchester United squad for pre-season after enjoying a well-earned break post Euro 2024 exploits.

Mainoo did not travel to the United States for the Red Devils' pre-season tour as he was granted an extended break after helping England reach the final of the European Championship. The youngster, however, is now back from his vacation and will join the club's pre-season preparation.

Uruguay international Facundo Pellestri was also seen returning to the club along with the English midfielder. Pellestri spent the last six months on loan at Granada and then represented his national team at Copa America 2024. The young winger was linked with a move to Brazilian top-division side Flamengo earlier in the summer, however, the Premier League club are yet to receive a formal bid.

After an impressive run of form for club and country in the 2023/24 campaign, 19-year-old Mainoo is expected to take a key role in Erik ten Hag's squad in the upcoming 2024/25 season.
